Getting started

  1. Install Polyglot.Open the downloaded DMG. Drag Polyglot into Applications, then open it from there.
  2. Download your models.Open Settings and download the subtitle models once. You’ll need an internet connection for this step.
  3. Create your first subtitles.Import your media, choose languages and create subtitles. Review the text, then export SRT files.

Updating Polyglot

Choose Polyglot Check for Updates…. Sparkle checks the release signature before installation. If that menu is missing, download and install the new version manually once to enable future in-app updates.

Video enhancement

Optional AI enhancement models are separate downloads. SeedVR2 requires at least 16 GB of memory. Preview a short scene first: enhancement can introduce artifacts and rendering is not real time.
