01

Start with the scene you have

Load a supported video and inspect a representative scene. Adjust resolution, noise, sharpness and motion individually. A larger output resolution does not automatically reveal genuine detail that was absent from the recording.

02

Choose the right local model

Optional enhancement models include compact Real-ESRGAN models, an anime-focused model and SeedVR2. They download separately and run on your Mac. SeedVR2 requires at least 16 GB memory and can be slow; these frame-based models may introduce flicker or invented detail.

03

Preview motion, then export

Check faces, fine texture, text, camera movement and scene changes in a short rendered preview. Export a new SDR MP4 when the result suits your footage. The original remains unchanged. No single model improves every recording.

Before you begin.

Does AI video enhancement run locally?

Yes, after downloading the chosen model. Conventional controls also work without an optional AI model.

Can Polyglot upscale anime footage?

It includes an anime-focused enhancement model. Test your own footage and review motion; this is separate from recognizing or translating Japanese speech.

Can it restore every blurry or damaged video?

No. Enhancement cannot guarantee recovery of lost detail or repair corrupt files. Compare the result with the original and keep only changes that help.
