Keep the spoken tour tied to the listing
Polyglot can transcribe an authorized narrated property tour on Mac and export reviewed subtitles for a compatible player. For a listing video, the important task is connecting each spoken room name and detail to the exact shot and approved listing revision. Captions should faithfully represent the recording; they should not invent a property specification.
Use a finished walkthrough and keep its listing identifier, recording date and approved description beside it. Permission should cover the property footage, occupants, narration and the planned distribution. Remove private papers, addresses you must not disclose, family photographs or excluded rooms from the video before preparing its public tracks.
Build a room-to-shot check
Write a simple shot ledger: room or area, video time, spoken description and the source for any factual detail that needs owner or agent approval. Review unit numbers, floor references, dimensions, included fixtures and qualifiers such as “approximately”. Do not infer them from the picture or a neighboring listing.
The following fictional review note separates a transcription problem from a conflict in the listing. Resolve an actual spoken error in the recording or its explicit correction, rather than silently changing the caption to make the advertisement look consistent.

Draft: “Used as a studio.”
Action: correct

Area figure: not spoken.
Do not add an inferred size.Preserve what the tour actually shows
Check transitions where the camera walks through a doorway or cuts to another floor. “Here” and “on the left” may stop making sense after an edit. If a shot order changes, repair the narration or companion room list and recheck every affected caption. A subtitle timestamp is not a floor-plan locator.
W3C distinguishes captions for audio from descriptions of essential visual information. A silent room tour does not become a described tour through speech recognition. If important details are only visible, arrange a clear narrated or written description separately. Polyglot does not identify rooms, measure floor areas or verify listing information.
For translations, retain the difference between an existing feature, a suggested use and a proposed improvement. Have a reviewer check local terminology and units against the approved description. Do not convert a study into a legally defined bedroom or strengthen a possibility into a guarantee through word choice.
Check the listing’s actual playback
Export SRT or WebVTT according to the receiving player’s requirements. Test caption support on the specific listing destination; uploading a video does not establish that it accepts a separate subtitle track. If the destination requires captions embedded into the picture, complete that step in suitable video-editing software and inspect the result. Polyglot does not burn captions into video.
Watch the doorway transitions, room labels and any dimension cards at phone size. Keep captions from covering the detail being discussed, and verify the ending still matches the current listing. Deliver the exact video revision, reviewed language files and room ledger together. When an asking term or feature changes, review the video and all public tracks before reusing the old tour.
